We are looking for people with the following skills.
You do not need prior computing experience. If you have all of the skills listed above, we are keen to hear from you. To apply, simply
submit
a comprehensive copy of your CV/resume.
We recognise that applying for jobs and going through the process can be stressful and difficult.
We've developed our process to be as efficient and helpful as possible.
Once we have made you an offer, there is some flexibility in the time available for you to make your decision and we can also be reasonably flexible regarding your start date. We will keep in touch with you in case you have any questions, or would like to come back for a more informal visit.
There are four stages in the recruitment and interview process.
Stage One - Submit Your Application
We are looking for an exceptional academic record, ideally all A grades at A-level or equivalent,
and a good degree. If you’re interested in joining us, simply
submit
a comprehensive copy of your CV/resume. Please ensure this includes details of your pre-university education
including your GCSE and 'A' level results or equivalent. For each set of exams please provide us with
dates, location (i.e. country), subjects and grades (without converting as we can do this for you).
You will receive confirmation that this has been received within 48 hours.
We aim to get back to you with our feedback within 3-4 working days.
You can contact a member of the recruitment team at any time.
Stage Two - Online Aptitude Test
If you meet our basic requirements, you will be invited to complete an online aptitude test. This
will give us an idea of your verbal and numerical reasoning skills, and will take just 15 minutes to complete.
If you proceed to the next stage, you will be asked to complete a second aptitude test when
you attend your interview.
Helpful Tips
- Complete the test in a quiet environment when you can give it your undivided attention.
- Work as quickly and as accurately as you can.
- If you're unable to complete the test for quite a while, please let us know as soon as possible so we don’t
keep reminding you that you need to take it!
What Happens Next?
One of our senior managers will review your CV/resume along with your performance on the online aptitude test.
We aim to get back to you within 2-3 working days. The quicker you complete the test following our invitation,
the sooner we will be able to confirm if you have successfully reached
the next stage of the selection process.
Stage Three - Application Form / Interview
You will be asked to complete our online application form before your first assessment. If your
application is successful, you will be invited to call in to book a suitable date and
time for the assessment. You will be with us for half a day.
What You Can Expect
We realise that interviews can be nerve-racking and we will do everything we can to make it as
painless as possible. Everyone you meet will want you to do your best.
- On arrival, you'll be asked to complete a travel expenses form so please keep any receipts.
- Following a brief presentation from one of our managers, a member of our recruitment team will
give you an aptitude test and a series of problem solving exercises. You don't need to prepare
beforehand and you do not need computing experience to do well.
- You will then have an individual interview with one of our Senior Software Engineers to discuss
your answers to the problems. He or she will seek to find out more about you and how you found the tests,
and they will answer any questions you may have.
- Before you leave, you will be advised of when you will next hear from us (normally within 3-4 working
days) and you will be given your travel expenses.
Stage Four - Final Assessment
The final assessment will cover a 24-hour period. Typically you would arrive late one afternoon, meet prospective managers and colleagues in the evening and then continue with a range of tests the following day. Arrangements for individuals vary and more information will be provided once you get to this stage.
